ANIMALS: Thus explaining the animal science degree. Jeren loves being around critters, and hopes to one day join in a career with them.
DRAWING/ART: Though not particularly good at it, Jeren enjoys looking at, and trying her hand at all art mediums, and particularly likes photography.
SLEEPING: What person doesn't like this? Poor Jeren often sleeps through her alarm, and is late to her classes, or her job at the hotel.
MUSIC: Jeren would have liked to study as a music major, but has no particular talent for it, and instead simply loves to listen to any and all genres of it.
FOOD: Never one to pass up a meal, particularly a free one, Jeren has a love for all things edible, and has taken several cooking classes at her college to improve her own cooking skills.
READING: When she isn't working or in class, Jeren doesn't have much of a social life, so she reads everything she can get her hands on.
DISLIKES
LOUD NOISES: Particularly thunder. Loud, sudden noises unsettle Jeren and make her nervous, though she hides this well.
THE DARK: Jeren is afraid of her own shadow, so a world of shadows isn't that appealing to her, as you can imagine.
HAVING HER PICTURE TAKEN: Photographic evidence of Jeren's existence is limited to grade-school pictures; you will almost never find her in a photo, unless she has been stalked and ambushed for such.
BEING CONTRADICTED: Jeren is strong-willed, though she doesn't show it often, and will often silently impose her opinion onto others through "The Stare" if she is forced into arguing over something.
SPIDERS: She will smash any that catch her eye, be they across the room, or crawling over her hand.
MAKEUP/PERFUME: Jeren feels that these things exist only to cover up true things, and plus, she's too lazy to apply any, so automatically condemns it.
STRENGTHS
OBSERVANT: Jeren catches almost everything that passes before her eyes and logs it, and has very keen eyesight.
INTELLIGENT: Though she rarely displays it, Jeren is incredibly smart, and enjoys school, and the work that it entails.
WEAKNESSES
SKITTISH/CAUTIOUS: Jeren is skittish in all senses, whether it be meeting someone new, or imagining horrible things lurking in the dark, and she never strays outside her comfort zone.
DAYDREAMING: Despite her nervous nature, Jeren is often caught in a fantasy, wishing for an adventure, or for something out of the ordinary to happen.
OVERALL Quiet, reserved, and observant, Jeren could be classified in the "watch out for" category, as it is indeed the quiet ones one must look out for. She does not stray from her daily routine, and dislikes it when others force their opinions upon her, or contradict her in an argument, though she rarely opens her mouth to argue. Meeting strangers, or being around people she does not know is unsettling for her, and she is most definitely not suited well to her current occupation. This one has a strong mind, and a strong will, though she masks almost every aspect of her personality behind her wall of quietness, and is easily flustered or embarrassed.
Jeren loves animals, and her major in college indicates this. Her general view on life is morose, though she longs for adventure - not too adventurous, though -, and she is nearly always tired, or appearing as such. As an earth elemental, Jeren is intelligent, observant, and is already starting to develop her keen senses.

MOTHER Carmella L. Clark, 57, Receptionist
SIBLING(S) None
OTHER None
HISTORY Jeren had a fairly normal childhood, and her parents were always cautious with their child, maybe overly so, so it is assumed that this is where she picked up her social awkwardness. Through grade school, all the way up to high school, she always preferred to read, mostly in the fiction/fantasy genre, and only had one or two close friends. This has carried over into her adult life, though she has lost touch with those friends, and is now quite lonely, only in contact with her immediate family on a daily basis.
She has always liked nature, and has held an interest in animals since her childhood, constantly bringing in birds, snakes, rodents, stray dogs and cats. Her parents were thrilled. However, now, Jeren only has one cat, a mischievous tabby that enjoys eating canned peas, and getting into anything and everything.

Ha, my dear. Ha, ha, ha. You hear that? That's me laughing, dear boy. You are so sadly mistaken. Darkness isn't the key to stealth, silly creature. Silence is. Utter, complete, silence.
Oh, and knowing where you've gone helps, too.
Everybody wants to change the world, darling, but no one wants to die.
Acid green filtered through her vision, the prints of the stallion she had been following for the past day and a half glowing brightly, as if he had bled the telltale substance everywhere, but no, there was no blood, save the tiny droplets that glowed bright blue, indicating that her target was indeed bleeding in some manner. She wondered how. He had been in her line of sight for almost four hours and hadn't noticed her, but she hadn't - in all her keen senses - noticed him bleeding, and that put her off a little.
Why was he bleeding?
Her little game was coming to an end sooner than she would have liked, because the stallion moved out into the open and dipped his head to graze. Odd. He had seemed a little too...dangerous to eat grass. Disappointment sliced through Chemo's gut like a cleaver; this had suddenly become quite less fun than it had been previously. The more dangerous the target, the more Chemotherapy liked to follow it, you see. It was some sort of complex, I believe. Some sort of psychosis.
Oh, dear boy, you would be watched now, the deathly green eyes of the mare would pierce the darkness, disappearing only occasionally as she blinked slowly, like a reptile poised to take down its dinner.
A smear of blue across the grass where the big creature grazed. So he was bleeding, and from his lower lip, it would appear. Interesting. Silent, the big warmblood moved, stepping free of the brush she had stood behind, her large frame dwarfed by the stallion's, and yet, he still did not notice her, as it should be. She was only noticed when she wanted to be, made sound only when there was purpose behind it. Lowering her elegant head, the black mare shuffled to the side slightly, arching her neck around and sliding a bright green eye over the target. She stood, silently, exposed, for several long seconds. It all culminated to this, the moment when the target would notice her at last. The ebony tail of the mare moved in the blink of an eye, touching against her flank with the soft sound such an action provided, and that was all it would take, for surely, he was a keen creature.
