He had a severe case of A.D.D so she had to be patient with him, but it was hard. Sometimes she wanted to just leave him, but she couldn't. He was her responseability to look after and she needed to learn that. Besides, he was too adorable to just leave behind.
"COME ON PARKER! HAVE SOME FUN. LET LOOSE. FLIRT. I DON'T CARE. JUST DO SOMETHING!"
Sammy screeched in her mind, starling her and making her almost trip in her high heels. She groaned and glarred at Sammy as he made a sorry face and then started sprinting around again. She growled at him and scooped him up in her arms, ignoring his constant squirming thanks to his A.D.D.
"Stop running around! Do you want to get us kicked out of town or something, Sammy? You can swish your tail or something to keep yourself from running, but please don't make a scene or anything. That is the last thing I need right now,"
Parks cried, struggling to keep Sammy still in her arms. He looked up at her and pouted, still squirming around in her arms. She gave him her best puppy dog face and whispered I'm sorry in his ear. He then licked her face with his serpent like tongue and she place him on the ground, earning a couple of happy squeals before he started prancing in place. She groaned and looked around, hoping no one saw how embarrassing her hatchling was being. God, she hoped no cute guys were around to see this, even though Sammy is way better than even a million hot guys. Yeah, she loved him that much. [/blockquote] [/b][/color]; done. It was the thought that raced through his mind like a chant as he walked further into the shopping center. He didn't even need anything, but Safina had goaded him -- begged really -- to come into town and socialize. He had no understanding as to why she would want him to do such a thing. Caine was perfectly fine living out in the wild, out in the uninhabited. It wasn't out of the ordinary for Bonded to seclude away from town, in fact, it was much easier. Not many of the unbonded liked to see the Dragons or Phoenix around town, they were hardly welcomed anywhere these days. Luckily, though, for Caine, Safina was still hatchling age, and she was permitted in the common areas of the Town Center.
Could you at least try to act happy? Safina asked, thumping her tail lightly against his legs as she walked by his side. The larger lycan looked down at his green and brown earth dragon with a small smile and nodded. Of course, Saf. But you know me, I like being a wolf much better than I like being a human. Safina snorted and shook her head, trotting on ahead of him a few steps and stopping to view the comical scene playing out before them. It was an earth dragon, colored similarly to Safina, though polar opposite in personality. He was running around shouting things at his obviously flustered bonded. Safina turned her head back to look at her own Bonded, eyebrows raised and a smile playing at her lips.
Caine approached the girl who had finally scooped up the wild dragon, chuckling softly at her. She was definitely pretty by anyone's standards, and she seemed to care about her crazy dragon. He's a...hyper one isn't he? Caine asked, nodding in the direction of the green reptile in her arms. Safina shuffled up next to him, leaning lightly against her Bonded's leg. He reached down to stroke the ridge of her neck, something he had found she enjoyed. Looking back up at the girl with a pair of stormy blue-gray eyes he grinned and Safina just rolled her eyes at him. I told you it was worth it! She cooed teasingly at him. I'm Caine Flynn by the way and this is -- Safina.. Safina sat back, outstretching her wings briefly, a display Caine suspected was of power. He knew that Safina was definitely protective of him.

The earth Dragon pranced happily up to the other Dragon and was going to inspect her wings, since he clearly had none, when Parker bent down and scooped him up. He squirmed again and she groaned slightly, trying to keep him under control without causing another scene.
She smiled at the man before her, chuckling at his words about Sammy. Parks couldn't even begin to describe how hard it was to deal with Sammy when he was always moving, but she could do it. She mentally smacked herself for coming here in the first place. She should've known that Sammy would do horribly in public places with so many people and Dragons around. She just had to put on her best smile and pretend that she wasn't embarrassed.
"Hyper doesn't even begin to describe him,"
Parker replied, smiling at the man before her, who introduced himself as Caine. She watched with sparkling blue eyes as he scratched his Dragon's head before looking up at her and smiling. She smiled back and held out her hand, as a greeting of course.
"I'm Parker Maddox and this is --"
"SAMAEL. CALL ME SAMMY, SAMMY, SAMMY!"
Parker replied as Sammy shouted over her, jumping from her armsand starting to run around. Parks frowned and looked from Caine to Sammy, wondering what she should do. She finally decided to chase after Sammy, but in her high heels she wouldn't have a lot of luck. She ignored her heels for now and raced after him, running in circles around Caine and Safina before finally tackling Sammy to the ground. They lied there for a bit then, giggling and laughing like they did that everyday.
Parker then realized everyone was staring at her and her little hyper hatchling. She laughed, embarrassed, as a blush crept to her cheeks. She picked up her now tired hatchling and carried him back over to Caine and Safina, pausing to brush the dirt off her and Sammy before standing in front of them again, Sammy sleeping soundly in her arms.
"I'm so sorry about that! He normally doesn't do that, at least not with everyone around, but there's a first for everything,"
Parker sighed, looking at Caine and smiling weakly. She half expected him to run away from her then, since she obviously had a crazy hatchling, but she also expected him to stay and laugh with her about jokes and stuff. Maybe he was that kind of guy, the one who didn't care about appearence or hyper hatchlings, but personality and how nice someone was. Oh, what hopes she had. [/blockquote] [/b][/color]; done.
