[/b]Cool like the fall breeze. Bright like the bristling leaves as they flittered and licked at the pair’s feet. Kiko held her breath silently as she moved. Kyro pressed herself against Kiko’s legs as they moved through the Valley of Taylean. Kyro kept pace, and every once in awhile, would nudge her mauve deep amethyst body against her bonded to keep her going, because Kiko would often change her view towards the sky; watching birds and clouds drift by in such a grace, that they made her with envy. Noticing their dilemma, youthful Kyro followed the gaze. Her face was thoughtful and serene. Almost curious… &&[/b] ”I will take you there someday. But for now, I need time to grow,” Kiko knew… but it was so much to look forward too. Patience. That was all she needed right now. With a deep inhale, Kiko Hikaru cleared her mind of her selfish wants, and focused her mind on what her little Kyro needed. Through their link, she became attentive to the hatchlings growing hunger. As she had stated back at the hatching grounds, she needed nourishment. &&[/b] ”Rabbits around here. Can you smell them?” Kiko nodded to the thick brush ahead, and Kyro nodded her agreement, before dodging into the foliage. Feeling at ease with their location near the center of the land, Kiko Hikaru held her coat against her olive skin, and placed herself down on the soft grass. For a few minutes, watching the sky and occasionally down to the earth for signs of Kyro, she waited tolerantly. Bliss of the hunt flowed in waves through to her, then, slowly, the savory feelings of a good meal. Though she herself was not hungry, she was aware of an excellent meal when her bonded had one. A plump rabbit perchance? Humming to herself, Kiko watched the staggering bushes where her Bonded reappeared safely. There was no remaining trace of the hunt. ’I thought it unnecessary to return with things that might unsettle you. Humans are very… intolerant, I understand, of our predatorial habits. Am I correct?’ So well spoken… Kiko couldn’t help but show a glimmer of admiration. Faltering to answer without a slight chuckle, she covered her mouth with one small hand to stifle the laughter. The she turned back and grinned, ”I wouldn’t have minded, honest. It… felt good…” [/font] She who dares to Stand where I stood...

[/b]Kyro lifted her head to listen to Kiko’s reassurance, but she had not been unsure to begin with, she was simply stating a fact. The question had been optional to answer. Such a silly girl her Kiko was…. A nearing scent sent Kyro’s slender maw into the air to draw out the source. She seemed to lightly touch fragments of the air, and return to earth, pausing and calculating… Testing every little detail in a way Kiko could have never imagined being capable of. &&[/b]Her head crossed that of her family once again. She hadn’t seen her mother since sunrise, and the day was slowly nearing noon. After she’d been given Kyro, she’d taken her straight to the Valley to get to know her. Talk with each other a little. Not like they probably needed it; They knew almost everything about each other. Almost. Her mother knew nothing of her success, but Kiko hardly felt the need to drag Kyro all the way home. She’d have to handle that later. Her mother lived within the housing complexes in town. They were certainly not the richest people, but Kiko had worked her ass off to buy these cloths. They were her work clothes. Underneath her coat, that was. Not to say it was particularly the wisest thing to ruin out here… But she carried nothing with her but a messenger bag of small meals. But she remembered Kyro’s attentive sniffing of the air, and flicked her head in the direction she seemed to be directing. &&[/b] ’Male and his bonded approaching. Speed not yet available for an accurate report… But they Are here.” Kyro stepped her brightly marked body in front of a sitting Kiko, who only stared over her shoulder at the faces that appeared over the small bluff of land. A sprite young dragon hatchling wheeled his hyperactive body towards them. Her smile faded, and her dark brown pools stared back at them. The boy was brooding rather heavily, despite his dragon’s quite opposite demeanor. It was fascinating to say the least. When they looked as though they were hardly threats, the Korean girl relaxed and fell back onto the grassy floor. Cushioned and content where she was. Kyro remained on guard, though, eyes fixed on on the two as they came near. ”People Kyro! They’re perfectly fine,” Kyro did not move from her spot hovering over Kiko with narrowed eyes at the males. ”-Fine. Be broody. At least I want them here…” she pushed her head back to look at them from an upside down view, balancing on her crown as she lay on her back. [/font] She who dares to Stand where I stood...

[/b] The dragon at the guy’s side seemed to chill out as they approached, causing Kiko to believe they must have been talking with one another. Her and Ky weren’t the only ones with telepathic abilities… With the bloke’s outstretched hand offering submission to the small dragon, Kyro became less tense, but not entirely. Suddenly, she was nudged over by a forceful hand of the small lass. ”See? He’s nice,” she turned her attention to Gabe and lessened her grin as not to make him think she was too happy… That was annoying, even to herself. ”Insa! My name is Kiko, and this ball of sunshine is Kyro. Have you come to train as well? Your dragon is lovely… He seems to mind well…” she said sarcastically. She stared up at him curiously without speaking till she could no longer take the silence. ”-You look good from this angle. Don’t move…” she laughed, squinting each eye and twisting her head to peer up at him in odd ways. Kyro exchanged a glance between Kiko and Gabriel and lifted her intellectual face higher. ”… What she means to say is she appreciates your company,” not amused, Kiko raised one eye brow and shrugged at Gabriel. Kyro turned her skull painted cranium to a babbling young Dragon. ”It was by mere chance, boy. Why are you so large?”’Foolish boy…’ Kyro whispered to Kiko. ’but YOU, on the other hand, just look funny all the time.’ but Kyro didn’t seem to notice Kiko’s mental comment, or at least she pretended not to. Gabriel smirked at the girl on the ground, and continued to hold the hand out for the hatchling called Kyro.
"Charming to meet you both. I am called Gabe, this little bottle of hell is Nyxx."
Nyx swatted his tail at Gabriel, and it hit him hard in the back toppling him over, head first into the ground in front of him. He fell hard, but was not harmed. The little dragon looked stunned at first, surprised by the strength he hadn't known he had. Then, he burst out laughing and started running in circled around his fallen bonded. Gabriel pushed him self up, glaring daggers at the little hatchling.
Nyxx! What the hell man?
You have no balance! Haha. Funny bonded, no balance at all.
Gabriel reached out and grabbed Nyxx firmly with two hands, and clutched the hatchling to himself to try and calm him. Nyxx squirmed frantically for a few moments before calming down slightly. The black and blue hatchling eyed Kiko with a keen eye from Gabe's arms.
"He does look rather good doesn't he? And so do I yes?"
He said rather loudly. Gabriel flushed, and smacked the dragons rump lightly. Nyxx squeaked and wiggled his back legs around half heartedly. He took the hint, but completely ignored it and went on.
"You look pretty fine yourself miss! If I were a human, I'd... well no, I'm a dragon. "
He turned his gaze this time to Kyro and eyed her.
"You need to lighten up, no need to be a shriveled up prune just yet. Save that for when you're old yes?"
He said with a grin on his scaled face. Gabriel was not starting to get annoyed. Nyxx was apparently incapable of keeping his mouth shut. Apparently it was time for Gabriel to do it for him. He pulled the belt free of his pants, and wrapped the leather around the dragon's mouth before tightening it. Nyxx squirmed around, squeaking loudly and pawing at the thing before he finally stopped and glared daggers at Gabriel.
"Sorry, my Dearly Beloved Bonded doesn't know what the difference between too far and really too far is. "
Said Gabe quickly, grinding his teeth together in agitation.

[/b] It was funny how dissimilar this vigorous jet of a dragon was compared to her quietly composed Kyro. Her own mauve soaked Dragonette was perfectly content speaking through Kiko’s mind, rather than the spill of audio words. Kiko did not mind, but she was worried by not being social, Kyro would develop seclusion habits. Kiko looked up with docile brown eyes at the smirking lad. His smile had her chuckle; it was nice to see emotion other than her own for once. Kyro boldly stepped back forward to nudge his lanky hand in a sort of… silent treaty, and then she pulled away from the two humans and approached the young dragon boy with a sniff. &&[/b] Without much effort, Nyxx managed to knock his bonded down in front of her own Bonded, making her jump in defense. But when she saw it was no more than an accident, she relaxed her slim body and exhaled for what seemed to be the first time since their encounter. Kiko was busy bursting vibrantly with laughter, having to stifle her laughter once more in an attempt not to be too rude. But It was all too much; Nyxx was quite a character! ’You could learn a thing or two, Kyro! He’s simply adorable!’ Kiko whispered through their link. Kyro could feel the amusement, but only offered a sly smile in return. ’Who? The Hatchling, or that Human of yours?’ she snickered in a snide way, nestling down in the grasses beside a bouncing Nyxx. Kiko only rolled her eyes and returned to Gabe with a lopsided grin. “nan-i baltob-eul sayonghaji anh-eul saeng-gaghaji ma,” Kyro replied to Nyxx, doing quiet calculations to Kiko’s language. Do not think I won’t use these claws.. the Korean language seemed embedded in her mind, just as her Human. And in a way, it was rather brilliant. &&[/b]With a spry, clever grin, Nyxx struggled within Gabriel’s arms, before answering her in Gabe’s turn. She rested her head playfully in the grass once more, turning and humming as though she were contemplating this information. ”You are indeed a very handsome hatchling, sir. But I think your Bonded there is a little flushed. You’d best stop that…” Kiki snickered consciously, but meant no harm. She liked that he would blush at such juvenile comments. But his next one made Her blush a pale pink. Her cheeks became apples of vibrant color, and her eyes looked to Gabe. Out of annoyance, the guy reached for his belt and untangled it from his pants where he brought it to tie up his Dragon. Kiko squeaked in surprise, but did not argue with his tactics. “Your dearly beloved bonded is nothing more than a child as of yet. Give him time; I am sure he will be a wonderful Dragon,” she let her face overcome a thoughtful stare, amusement still in those deep russet seekers. ”It’s nice to just... Relax like this. I don’t get to do it often between work, and now Kyro. You and him are water, are you not, Chingu? Beautiful element, it is… Both my parents were Water.” she picked her ginger head up and rested her face atop her hands. ”Where do you come from? You aren’t mean like the other boys. They like to talk down to me… and sometimes they hit me… But I guess that’s just life.”[/font] She who dares to Stand where I stood...

Gabe, flustered, sat the "tongue tied" Hatchling down on the ground. He sat there furiously, glaring at the pair of them. In response to Kiko's squeak when the belt had come off, the little dragon eyed her with a cocky grin, and managed to mumble something through his binds.
"Sorry lady, the pants are staying on."
Gabriel promptly grabbed him, and gave his head a harsh nuggie. Which caused Nyxx to squeak and scream loudly as he struggled to get free.
Hush it up Nyxx. Or I'll strangle you.
Hey, just doing what you wont. You're too quiet so I gotta make up for that!
Sighing, Gabe shoved Nyxx aside and smirked as the dragon, top heavy from the belt, stumbled and fell. He was extremely releaved when the other girl began to speak again. He wasn't exactly social, even if he could spin a lie it didn't mean he was 'eloquent' or 'charming' when he didn't have to be to survive. This chance meeting was turning quickly to be more trouble than it was worth. How long would it take for Nyxx to mature? He had things to do.
"Yeah. Water."
He nodded, parting with no personal information on himself. No need to say neither of his parents had dragons, or that his sister had a dragon but was too young to have an element. Nikita was a fool to think she could handle one so young. Then again, his sister had always been a strange one.

He realized an awkward silence had occured while he wasn't paying attention, and quickly cleared his throat to say something just to break it.
"Yeah well, boys can be real dicks sometimes."
He said with a shrug and a smirk.
