[/b] A small female figure ran through the Hatching grounds with excited steps. A smile was painted like art upon her face. Clad in cardigan and dark blue jeans, Kiko Hikaru held herself up in the sinking sands she wandered along. She’s gone from her parent’s home, to this is merely two hours with minimal stops and rests. She was too excited to have stopped to much. If her dragon was here, she’d be ready… ”dangsin-i yeogiiss-eo, geuleohji?” She called out, cupping her small ands over her plum lips. She’d read and heard of the connection between a dragon and its bonded, surely she would be given the same? It was tradition; like rice with each meal. (and a good tradition at that) Bothe of her parents, even her deceased father had had a dragon of their own. Kuchi was her mother’s current one. He was wonderful, and Kiko had spent much time around him. Returning her dark brown eyes to the landscape, she watched for life. Patience was a virtue, and she’d learned to handle that long ago. She heard the words. Heard them, but at first didn't understand them. She blinked her small, pale eyes open and tried to clear her thoughts. Why did she feel so drowsy? She had no reason to be drowsy, her bonded was here! She chirruped, though inside the egg the noise was silent. She small hatchling squirrmed, and pushed at the shell of her egg. It was one of the few eggs sitting directly on the surface, probably knocked aside by a hatchling and it's bonded as they left the grounds. The egg toppled over, cracking and spilling the little purple form onto the sand. She struggled to right herself, and immediately found herself looking up at her bonded. She studied her for a moment, silent and calculating as she looked up at her. Her brain did a few calculations, and she realized she did know what the girl had said, it just wasn't what she was expecting.
"Bonded?"
She chirruped lightly, her voice like little bells.

[/b] She came in a burst of energy to the young Korean girl. Like a snapping sensation, she could feel the Dragonet below becoming one with her. Hana. Smiling vividly, Kiko lowered herself down to her dragon, smiling. "Kuchi told me about the bond. He said it linked us together. Forever. Did you know?"'Yes, I did... Its why we are here.' her dragon's voice was not angry, but collected and calculated. As though she were always on her own thought process; a thought process Kiko was now a part of. 'Kuchi? You're maternal parent's Dragon, am I correct?' But the young hatchling knew she was right. She had all the information about her bonded she needed. With a hum and a grin, Kiko let her hand slid over the Dragon's small features. She'd fill out fine enough to ride for short distances, Hikaru could tell. The skeletal markings over the dark mauve was as though a fresh painting on darl canvas. Like that... what was it called....? 'Day of the dead, Kiko..." the hatchling offered, placing herself in an idle position next to the human girl. Quiet a serene girl this Greyling was... "Kyro!" that was it. As though calculating this broken piece of information, her hatchling noded intelligently amd spoke. "That is what you wish to name me?"This made Kiko frown, tilting her head to one side. "You do not like it, salang?" Kiko had found it suiting... but still, she was unsure. The dragon spoke again through her mind, and Kiko concluded she was comfortable this way. It made the hatchling smile inside that her bonded had addressed her as salang; the Korean word word Darling. 'No. It is fine, I promise. Now we shall go, for I am hungry.'[/font] She who dares to Stand where I stood...
