[/b]Ribbons of warm morning light filled the gentle brown eyes of a ginger threaded girl as she lay awake in a soft, grassy bed with the Ven Forest. Her hands were tucked behind her head, beneath the wavey locks of liquid fire, and she heaved a quiet sigh of contentment. Beside her, curled against the curve of her human Bonded's body, Adele slept. Her lithe cranium resting upon Kazen’s stomach. The hatchling was emerged in golden slumbers. There was a slight decline in the bond as the other slept, but the waves of pleasant dreams still came to Kazen as though they were memories of her own. But she could not recall ever having adventured so far into the Air Alliance, where she found this dream taking her… Adele’s whimsical mind seemed to be drifting in and out, causing the pictures in Kazen’s head to be all but clear. As a stronger wave of dream came in, the girl could feel the happiness that Adele felt… Home, was the word she felt. Safety at last, and the scene of herself and the young dragonet bounding through endless fields of a warm valley. Above them only sky, below them, the land they lived upon. A quiet camp flanked them. But she only glanced once in its direction. The people and their own bonded they passed seemed to bow their heads and smile kindly.

&&[/b]Who were they? This couldn’t have been Adele’s own memory; she had only hatched into this world yesterday. It was a dream. Just a dream. As the vision progressed, Kazen was faintly aware that they were more than just wandering girls. Adele was dreaming them as Alliance queens… Almost horrified at the thought, Kazen stirred, breaking the steady connection to her Dragon’s sleep.

&&[/b]Blinking wildly, Adele’s blue eyes flickered over Kazen’s face. A smile crept over her lips as she stared back down at her Greyling girl. The beautifully swirled Air dragon too gave out a meek grin, lighting Kazen’s heart up in gentle flames. Her reverence glistened in her brown pools. Adele took a large yawn and lifted her tired body from beside her human. Each wing lifted and stretched out their full length. Kazen was not bothered by the fact that as an extra small, she would never ride Adele. She loved her the way she was. Adele was very mammal like in structure, with a thin nose and canine-like body. Air was more common for their animal-like Dragons. Just was fire was for its horned bodied ones. It made her smile. So different they all were… As she looked down at her dragon, resting back on her hands as she sat up, again the thought if Adele’s dream crossed her mind. Did she even want a home? She’d told herself she never wanted to be cooped up like that… But what if they had one to their selves? She wouldn’t Have to listen to anyone. Shaking herself mentally, she lifted herself from the grassy undertone and brushed off her dark wash jeans and soft blouse.

&&[/b]Adele looked around the thin forest edge with a quizzical look upon her fine features. ”When do we get to go to our home, Kazen?” Looking down sharply, Kazen opened her mouth to speak, but closed it again shortly after. The bond… of course. I… I’m sorry Adele. I didn’t mean we were going…” the ginger headed girl looked out passed the forest at the Taylean Valley. She sighed. ”But Kay! We have to go! I know it! I know it!”

‘…Please Kayz?’ the whining was So pitiful… it made Kazen cringe.

’We’ll see. But NO guarantees, Adele.’

Happy with this, Adele perked up and bounced towards the forest line. She was still so hungry…

Sun filtered with ease through the sparsely parted trees on the edge of the forest. Caine sighed, leaning against a tree and staring at the ground before him. Safina was off - somewhere - eating. He could feel her pleasure as she hunted around. He shook his head lightly, running a hand through his short hair. She needed to hunt, they hadn't stopped since they left the hatching grounds. Caine had been wanting to slide back into his wolf form ever since they had left the desert. For his bonded's sake, he had stayed in his human form, knowing the little female dragon liked to sit upon his shoulders. Now she was better, happier having hunted, and she was heading back to him, he could hear her thinking it.

The boy's icy eyes flicked over to the side, landing on the green and brown dragon who was bounding toward him. He smiled at her. Safina was not only his bonded and his friend, but his helper and guide to the alliance. They were the only earth pair he knew of on the island, and therefore it had been natural that he had inherited the throne to the elemental alliance. Head in the clouds, Caine?

[/i] Jolting up, the boy looked down at the dragon girl who had nudged him in the leg. Yea, sorry. Ready to head out, Saf? He asked. Caine knew she could hear him in her head just fine, but he always liked to fill the silence. Of course. Let's explore?

Caine nodded, pushing off the tree with his shoulder. He stretched, popping his joints into place and breaking into a run, Safina matching each stride. Before he knew it, Caine had transformed into a wolf. Being a lycan, he was nearly horse-sized, with short coarse sandy hair and rippling muscles. Show off...[/i] The feminine voice rang in his mind. The boy laughed, a sound that was more like a growl in his wolf form, whose vocals were not used to his human emotions. You're just jealous.[/i] He teased. Looking back now, the boy realized that in such a short time he and Safina were already so close. They knew everything about each other. Safina knew his feelings and insecurities. She knew about his temper and his history. She accepted him. She was the only one. The wolf sighed and kept on running.

He only stopped short when he heard a voice. There were two female voices, a small one and a louder one. A human and her bonded, no doubt. The blue-eyed golden wolf turned his head to Safina who had stopped near him and cowered into his side, listening intently. We should go say hi...[/i] she suggested and Caine shot her a look that clearly said that was the last thing he wanted to do. Grinning mischievously, Safina nodded and bolted out before he could hold her back. Safina! He yelled out, icy eyes wide. The wolf lunged out after her, glaring at his earth-toned bonded who had stopped curiously before the fire-headed girl and her tiny dragon. Caine groaned, stiffening and transforming back into his human form, hoping it wouldn't frighten the girl too bad. Uh...hi? I'm Caine. Caine Flynn. He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly and heard Safina laughing in his mind.

One of the awkward times, i see. And here I was hoping for Caine the big bad wolf.[/i] He just rolled his eyes and shot her a glare. [/color][/size][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

[/b] Adele reached back to Kazen and began tugging at her blouse with her teeth. At the same time bouncing around and twirling with excitement. Kazen silences her with the flick of a wrist; making sure to keep the noises to a minimal was necessary given that she could hear things emerging from the forest behind them. And Adele seemed to hone in on this too. She lifted her pointed snout to taste the air, coiling back behind Kazen when she at length pinpointed the scent.

’it’s a people, bonded. A people…’ her tiny head peeked out from behind her human bonded every so often. Bright whist swirls visible through her darker body. When the rustling and sudden hasty appearance of a Dragon came from the foliage next to the pair, Kazen jumped unexpectedly, and dropped to clutch Adele firmly in her arms. A very large wolf followed in pursuit, and for a moment, it looked as though a game of hunt. But when the name he shouted hit her ears, she knew it was not.

&&[/b] They were bonded by the same link.
Kazen noded her head at the two and pulled Adele closer who squeaked softly, but did not feel too adverse to the close contact with her Kazen. She loved to be touched… and held… and loved… Her human bonded began brushing her fingers along Adele’s crest, feeling across the swirls and smooth scales of her young dragon, trying to relax them both. Her brown eyes did not blink away from the man and his own Dragon for even a moment.

”Oh, hello… If you’re lost… I’m afraid you’ll have to look elsewhere for assistance. I’m no bloodhound…” then she flicked her head to Adele below. ”This is Adele, and I’m Kazen. Kazen Hayne… It’s a pleasure to meet you both… not that I know why it is… but I suppose that’s just something people say to each other. Its polite, I think…” she looked behind her at the valley. She should have gotten Adele out there at least fifteen minutes ago to hunt… were these two going to hold her up?

”Kazzy… I’m huuuuuungry… and he’s a boy anyways. Ick.” oh… whimsical little Adele, of course. Kazen chirped with laughter at her bonded, lifting them both up as she got to her feet in one thrust upwards.

Caine looked around and at the ground, and about anywhere but the girl and her dragon. It was obvious that they had frightened them, and the dragon was so...small. Safina looked up at him worriedly, apparently upset that her idea had led to this. She slinked forward slowly, in a show that she was not going to harm them. The earth dragon sat back, wings folded neatly at her back, her eyes on the tiny baby dragon. It was likely that the small thing had hatched before her, though judging by the size and appearance it was an extra small Greyling. It was rare, and scared, and seemed so close to it's bonded. Hello...I am Safina.

[/i][/color] Caine watched from where he was, admiring his young Bonded and her soft and gentle demeanor. She was a caring creature. Safina looked up at the girl with bright intelligent eyes. It's rare...for dragons to be such a size. She's special...but I guess you already knew that.[/i][/color] The green and brown earth dragon dipped her head softly, and peered over her shoulder in a gesture that told Caine he should come closer.

He did, softly padding on the grass with bare feet, still a bit awkward in his human form. He rarely spent any time in it, and it always shocked his senses to flip from a wolf to a man. Both he and his bonded could tell that girl wasn't too comfortable with company. He sighed and looked at the ground, running a hand roughly through his hair. He must have scared them bad. Of course he had. Who wouldn't have been scared by a horse-sized sandy-gold wolf barreling into their view and chasing a small and swift Winchester dragon? Even more, that same wolf turned into a tall and muscled human male who looked capable of injuring someone if he so pleased. Caine. I don't think you scared her, she's just protecting her Bonded. The girl is more of a maternal figure for the dragon, it isn't like our bond. Not all of them develop the same way... Caine had to smile a bit, Safina was always there to comfort him, always there to help him. She moved to him and he picked her up, hefting her up to her favorite spot on his shoulder and head. She rested her head in his hair, inquisitive eyes still on the girl and her dragon, a soft purr rumbling from her throat.

The pair of Earth Bonded listened to the girl as she spoke. Her name was Kazen, the dragon Adele. She seemed nervous, as though she wanted to be anywhere but there. Again, he didn't blame her, but kept his thoughts on that to a minimum. No, we aren't lost. We were actually out here hunting and exploring... He trailed off as Adele began whimpering. She was hungry. They should go and let the two hunt in peace. Apparently Safina did not agree as she perked up, smiling softly at Kazen. As Caine said, I could use for some hunting as well. Adele and I could go together if you do not mind? I know of some places nearby with easy game.[/i][/color] Caine sighed, shaking his head lightly with a chuckle. I think by that, Saf means she's just eager to make a friend. Safina thumped her tail lightly against his shoulder. No, Caine, I'm eager for you to make a friend. He smirked at her voice, glad for once that the Bond opened up the telepathy.[/color][/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]
